Players help Alison deal with difficult situations (such as a friend being mad at her for not being invited her to a party), and help her be assertive (yet respectful), disagree without lowering the self- esteem of others, use facts to be persuasive, show empathy, etc. Players also use tone of voice and body language to enhance the effectiveness of what Alison says. A 17” X 22” color poster is included. Teachers are encouraged to keep the poster up in subsequent classes for the purpose of continued reinforcement of the skills. Grades 5-8.
